Are you interested in teaching one-to-one / small group yoga?
Does the therapeutic application of yoga interest you?
Are you already a certified yoga teacher?

If you answered yes to all questions, this training is for you.

I, Clare. got interested in Yoga Therapy in 2001 when I realised that stress was causing me insomnia even if I was practicing yoga. I wanted to learn more on how to change my practice to suit my life situation then.
Fortunately I found Yoga Therapy and trained to become a certified yoga therapist.
And in the process learned so much more about myself and others, than I thought was possible.

This training is geared towards yoga teachers with at least a RYT200 certificate and some amount of teaching (any yoga style) under their belts. In this 150 hour teacher training we will get acquainted with yoga therapy as a teaching tool.

Part of the material will be pre-studied on line and discussed on-site. On our days together we will study theories, practice and most important put things into practice.
This is the main reason why this training is only suitable for existing yoga teachers. You need to be comfortable with teaching before the beginning of this traininig.
This training incorporates some basic coaching tools to boost any style of teaching.

In this 150h training we are concentrating of the basics, building a strong foundation for self practice.

There is a possibility to study further, all the way into 550h and become a certified yoga therapist.
After this 150h training we will dive into specifics of imbalance and disease. Every session dedicated to one subject.
The rest of the training (550h) will be in partially retreat form, 5-6 days each + a few more weekends after the retreats. We are continuing the training in fall 2020 if there is interest.

This training is certified by the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapist). No Yoga Alliance certification can be given due to YA requirements.

You as a student are required to commit to the following:
– Practice diary (own practice), guidance given
– 100% attendance (all hours missed are deducted from the certificate).
– All homework must be handed in via email 1 week before the modules
– Teaching 25 sessions of Yoga Therapy, minimum of 6 sessions in a group setting.

I as your teacher will provide a safe, inspiring and informative training.
